Jackson turned 3 months this past Thursday, the 24th. So here are two of the most recent pictures of him. He is just growing like a weed. He is trying to catch up to his cousin Tessa, but he has a long way to go! His cheeks are still as big as ever. That is the first thing everyone comments when they see him for the first time!

This picture is just fun. Jackson always does these funny poses that remind us of superheroes. I guess that's what happens when his daddy is obsessed!

Saturday the 12th, Barry and his family came over to swim. It was Jackson's first time in the pool. He seemed to enjoy it, once he woke-up. Plus, it was later in the day, so it was a bit chilly once he got out of the pool. We may try it again today and see how he likes it. He loves baths, so we are thinking we will spend a lot of time in the pool this summer! Doesn't Tessa look adorable in her bikini!! She is such a chunk, but soo cute. Kira and Trenton are still working on their swimming techniques, so it's fun to watch them learning.

This is Bobby's doing, of course! Apparently it takes this many superheroes to hold Jackson down. He is quite strong!

Jackson is getting to be a great smiler. Usually in the mornings when he wakes up he will just talk and smile until he decides he's hungry. He has also found his fist. He loves to suck/chew on his left fist. Bobby is hoping that means he will be left handed like him!
Here Jackson is exercising with Grandma. He likes to ride a bike and touch his toes to his face. He also likes to stretch and grow. He is getting so big. He's over 14 lbs. now! He only gets up once a night, then helps us start the day around 7. He is getting to be a good sleeper. He loves to nap in his swing, and occasionally he'll sleep on the futon with Frodo, Mikelle's cat back in Prescott.

Here is Jackson and his Grandpa Halterman. They are good buds. On Tuesdays and Thursdays Grandma and Aunt Kristin go to class, so Grandpa takes care of Jackson. Jackson likes to save his dirty diapers for Grandpa. Almost every night Grandpa has him, Jackson has a dirty diaper. We think it's hilarious, Grandpa, not so much! Also, one night Grandpa was telling him the story of the three bears, and each time Jackson started to fuss at the part where Goldilocks eat the baby bears cereal. It's almost like he knows that would be his cereal! But honestly, we are so thankful for his sacrifice. Everyone has been so great to us while Mikelle is trying to get better. We want to thank everyone, especially Grandpa and Grandma who carry the brunt of it all.
Here is our handsome man! He loves hoods for some reason. Luckily he and Mikelle have been in Prescott where it is still chilly enough to wear them. He is starting to get so fun to play with, when he's not sleeping! Mikelle is still nursing her back and may be in for surgery to help speed up the process, but we are still deciding what will be best. We'll keep you updated though! And we have lots more to post, so hopefully this weekend we can get caught up.

Here Jackson is with Aunt Kristin. She loves to zerbert his tummy, and you can tell by his face, he loves it. Kristin is living back at home in Prescott and going to school. We also have to thank her for helping out with Jackson. She loves to play with him and hates it when he is sleeping when she comes home from school. Thankfully she restrains herself, and waits till he gets up!

Jackson turned 2 months Monday. Here are his pictures. We are going to the doctor tomorrow so we will upload his new stats in a day or two. Last week he weighed about 11 lbs. 12 oz. so we are thinking he is about 12 lbs. He is getting so big. He has outgrown most of his 0-3 month clothes, so we are moving through the outfits pretty fast. He still has his fat little cheeks and is starting to get rolls all over now! He is trying to catch up to his cousin Tessa. He has a long way to go though!!

Jackson is just starting to smile regularly. Here is one of the cutest pictures we got of his new trick. He is also getting a personality, and has the funniest faces. We're not sure what this face says, but it is great all the same. Bobby likes this pictures because it looks like Jackson is flashing gang signs. At least we are teaching him young!

Here is Jackson's cousin, Tessa and Aunt Kendra. She is 3 months older than Jackson, but looks about 6 months older. She is off the charts in weight and height. She is adorable, especially with the mo hawk! Kendra has been helping us out too. She was in Prescott for their spring break, and then again over Easter. She has also helped Mikelle get to various appointments in Phoenix and lugged Jackson and Tessa around. She has a new appreciation for only having one baby at a time!

Here is Jackson being bathed by his grandma Halterman. He loves baths. Grandma bathes him every night before bed and it helps him settle down and sleep longer. We are so thankful for Mikelle's parents. They are taking care of her and Jackson. They have been doing it for the past three weeks, and will keep doing it till Mikelle is better. Bobby visits on the weekends to give Grandma a little break!

Here is Jackson in his first snow storm! We were in Prescott the weekend before Easter, and they got a fair amount of snow. Of course it didn't stay around too long, but it was fun to take Jackson out in it for a minute. He didn't seem to like it too much, but in time he will come to love it!

Here is Jackson in his blessing suit. He is so cute. We don't have any pictures of the whole fam, so we will have to beg those from family and post them later and out of sequence. At least we posted something!

Jackson was blessed the first week in March, and we were lucky to have Bobby's dad, sister Brittany, mom and step-dad fly in to play for a bit. We went to the Phoenix Zoo Saturday with most of Mikelle's family and had lots of fun. Here is Brittany with Jackson, then Bobby with his dad, Brittany and niece Kira. It was Jackson's first big outing, and he did really well.
So, we know we have been slacking on posts, but that is because Mikelle has been in Prescott staying with her parents while her back heals. For those of you who don't know, Mikelle has three fractures on two of her vertebrae and can't take care of herself, let alone Jackson. We have no idea how they happened, or why, but so far we know she has osteoporosis of the spine. She is seeing a specialist in April, so hopefully we can figure out what is going on!

Newborn Photo Shoot

Jackson just passed his 1 month birthday! On Sunday the 24th, a whole month old! Here are some of his pictures to show his growth. We really have no idea how big he actually is, but he is putting the weight on. Look at those cheeks! His tummy is also huge, but really he has no bottom, poor boy. He is still too cute. He hasn't been out in public too much yet because we don't want him catching the flu or R.S.V. We are blessing him Sunday though, so he will make his debut! He hasn't even gotten to meet his cousin Kira yet. He met Trenton and Tessa yesterday. Trenton was so excited to see him, and let us know how cute he was. Trenton is so excited to have a boy cousin close to home. Those two will create quite a lot of havoc in a few years! Jackson is finding his tongue, and loves to stick it out. He also likes to cuddle with his daddy, chest to chest. Especially when he gets out of the tub and needs to warm up a bit. He hates being cold, so changing his diaper is always fun while he's screaming! So to punish us, he waits till we have his diaper off to do his business. Soon we'll just let him stay in his filth. That will solve everything!

Here is Jackson with his Aunt Kristin. She came to stay with us for a few days, as you can tell Jackson loves her. We had to capture this picture because his little leg was too cute. It was like he was trying to climb up her torso. He is too cute!!
