Jackson was so excited to see Santa, or maybe that was us! Jackson was actually good for about 30 seconds then he freaked out. At least we got a semi-decent picture! We are so excited for Jackson's First Christmas. On a side note, Jared and Suzy had their little one, Van Jared, yesterday the 15th. He was just over 6 lbs. and has lots of hair. Jared says he is tall and skinny. We were all shocked! All is well with mom and baby. Hopefully they will post pictures in a few days.

Here are some random photos of Jackson on a motorcycle. We went to the Tempe Historical Museum on Saturday and they had a real old police bike you could sit on. He liked the bike, but not so much the helmet. He told him he couldn't get a bike without the helmet, so he pitched a fit. Maybe next year for Christmas he can get a bike if he changes his tune!

To pass some of the extra time this holiday break we went for a walk around Tempe Town Lake. We had a lot of fun and it was great to be outside. It was a little cold and windy, but still a nice change from 10o degrees! Jackson loved to be with his daddy and liked the shoulder ride, even though he still can't hold on by himself. He just has the best smile. Don't ya think?!

Thanksgiving was fun. We had it with Mikelle's family. There were about 40 of us, so we had it at a church in Mesa. The food and company were both great. Jackson didn't like much of the food, and he was so sleepy he slept through half of dinner. He loves his Aunt Kristin.

This is a great picture of Jackson's hair. He doesn't have too much, but what he does have is super blond on mostly on the top of his head. We love to spike it or give him a fauxhawk. Plus check out his face. Hilarious, but oh so cute!

Here are Jackson's 10 months photos. He is getting so big. Crawling like crazy and really hoping to walk soon. He tries so hard to stand, and can get you to hold his hand and walk with him when he wants. He is so smart and knows what he wants, if only we knew what he wants!

Here Jackson is supporting BYU. Bobby has already made it clear that Jackson will most likely be going there. The hat may be a little big, but he still looks dang cute!

One day Mikelle was able to watch Tessa and Trenton while Kendra went to the cannery. Amber came over to help since three kids are a lot for Mikelle and her back. The playground was a big hit. Trenton had a lot of fun helping Jackson down the slide and on the swing.Jackson loves the swing, so it's great the weather here is cooling off. They all had so much fun, don't let Jackson's sad face on the slide fool you! His cousin might have kicked him.

Well, here are a few pictures of Jackson with his Grandpa Glas. We got to play with Bobby's dad for a few days around Halloween as he was in town for business. We mostly just hung-out, and it was great to have him here. Jackson hasn't seen him since he was about 2 months, so it was great for them to get to know each other. Everyone thinks Jackson looks most like his Grandpa Glas. Aren't they so cute?!

So we went to the Doctor today for Jackson's 9 month check-up. He's just healthy as a horse. He's 21 lbs., 60% and 29 inches, 75%. Although, he feels much heavier than that! Plus, he started crawling yesterday! He is also pulling himself up and cruising on furniture. The doctor says she thinks he will walk early. Is that good thing? We are excited, but not all at the same time!

Here are our Halloween pictures! I know you were all holding your breath! If you can't tell, Bobby was Thor, Mikelle was Wonder Woman, and Jackson was Captain America. He even kept his hat on for about half the time! As you can tell Jackson was a little sleepy. He missed his afternoon nap, but as long as we kept moving, he was okay with Trick-or-Treating. We went with Barry and Kendra and their kids for a little while, then we met up with Bobby's dad and went to dinner. We looked good eating out at Outback, and we didn't feel silly at all!! Of course we ditched the wigs.

Here are a few pictures of Jackson with our pumpkins for Halloween. He had his own little one, but then helped carve the big one. Really, he hated the insides of the pumpkin. He takes after his daddy there! Maybe he will grow out of that.

Well, here are his 9 month photos. They were so hard to get. He doesn't want to sit still, and he really didn't want to lie on his back. He is all smiles though, and that is the really important thing! We go see the doctor next week, so we will update you with his stats then, but it is safe to say he is huge!

Jackson has started chomping on everything he can get his hands on. The day he  started sitting up on his own I had put him in his crib for a nap. He started crying, but then a minute later was quiet. I was shocked because he has yet to fall asleep for a nap on his own. I peeked into his room, and I found him chewing on his crib. The first picture shows little wood shards on his face and shirt. There are now lots of little teeth scrapes on the side of his crib. Needless to say, we had to lower the mattress that day!

We went to Prescott the first weekend in October and thought it would be fun to go to a pumpkin patch and play. Of course, the weather didn't think that was a good idea. It started to pour about half way there, but we hoped it would stop by the time we got there. When we got there, it was just sprinkling, so we went for it. Of course, it was pouring a few minutes later. We got some kettle corn and some dang cute pictures, but that was about it. We didn't even get to see tha anilmals, bummer. For those of you who don't recognize the cute boy standing next to Amber, that is her boyfriend, Anson.

This picture is a little older, but it is so cute. You can see where Jackson got his eyes from. Father and son, so handsome.

We were all able to go to Prescott for Labor Day. It was a nice break from the heat. Plus we got to celebrate our nephew's birthday. Trenton turned 4, crazy. Time has flown by, especially for Mikelle who kind of lost a few months there with her back. She is doing well though, just continuing to work on strengthening he back. Aren't we so cute!!

This picture if from a high school football game Jackson got to go to. The same weekend Mikelle was in Prescott, her old high school played their rivals, so they went to the game. Jackson was great, although he didn't watch much of the game. We did find out he likes Mountain Dew though! No, we really didn't give him any, he just enjoyed chewing on the can and holding it. Maybe because it was so cold and something new to play with.
Okay, here is the teeth picture we promised. You may wonder what is all over his face. It's Indian Fry bread. We know, not the best for best for babies, but he enjoyed it! When Mikelle was back in Prescott for a few days, they took Jackson to the County Fair. He had the best time, and was so good. As long as we are doing something, he tends to be quite good. The second picture is of Jackson's first hay ride. He loved the ride and even more loved the animals he got to see at the end of the ride.

Jackson is just teething away. He puts everything in his mouth. He has his bottom two teeth, and they are so cute, and sharp! Kristin has a great picture, so when we can get it from her, we will post it.

This picture is so funny. Jackson is trying so hard to roll onto his stomach. He is so close, he just doesn't get his arm in the correct position most of the time.

Here are Jackson's 8 month pictures. It is hard to tell how big he is getting, because getting him to sit still is almost impossible now! He is constantly on the move and always trying to explore something new. He still loves his feet and plays with them all the time. He isn't crawling yet, but we are hoping it won't be much longer. Mostly when we put him on his stomach, he rolls over, although he is finally starting to roll from his back to his stomach, but not too often. He still has his winning smile and makes the funniest faces.
Here is our handsome boy with his Grandma Halterman. He just loves her. She can always get him to smile. He is also sporting his Dr. Seuss outfit. We are starting him young. He loves to read Dr. Seuss books, which we inherited from his Great-Grandma Halterman. It has been decided Jackson will go far in life.

Here Jackson is playing with a stick and some roots. He is a typical boy, already! He loves the dirt, sticks, and just being outside in general. Thankfully we have spent a lot of time in Prescott, because it is still too hot to spend much time outside in Phoenix. We do go on occasional walks but usually once the sun goes down.

Here Jackson stole Grandpa Halterman's hat and put it on, or maybe he had a little help! But he looks so cute. This picture is great with the two of them looking at each other. Jackson and his Grandpa have become buds while Mikelle and Jackson were in Prescott. The second picture is just funny. Jackson was "G-riding" in his stroller (according to Bobby). Plus, he just loves to put his blanket over his face while falling asleep. It makes us a little nervous, but once he falls asleep, we just take it off his face and he's good to go. That little boy loves to sleep while on the go.

Here are some of Jackson's 7 month photos. He is just getting so big. He is rolling over, but not crawling yet. He loves to stand, but can only do it with help. He is finally cutting a tooth. He has been teething for a few months, but on Labor Day the first one finally poked through. We can't wait for it to be more noticeable. He has also started to reach out more, which is great until he yanks your hair or scratches your face! No really, it is so sweet when he reaches up to touch your face. He has started to try and talk more, but no coherent words yet. He is also recognizing people and voices, but is starting to become real clingy and hates it when he's left alone. It doesn't even matter who it is just as long as he has an audience!

Just some fun pictures we took. Jackson is getting more and more mobile, but also needs to be entertained while awake. He gets bored with one thing after just a few minutes, if that! Which is making it all the more challenging for Mikelle to be back in Phoenix and trying to handle Jackson alone all day. Once it gets a little cooler outside, the walks will increase and Jackson will love that. He gets to excited to see Bobby when he comes home, and loves to go swimming once the pool has a little shade over it.

Here are just a few fun pictures we took. Aunt Kristin decided Jackson wasn't cool enough, so he needed a hat to wear backwards. A hat that is 3 sizes too big. At least it is a Red Sox hat, although you can't tell from the picture. He does look pretty cool though! And here he is with some of his new friends from Prescott. He doesn't look so big now! Mikelle is doing much better with her back, and it looks like she will be home to stay after Labor Day! She still has a ways to go to get back to pre-broken back, but at least she can take care of herself and Jackson and can continue to heal at home.
