Over Labor Day weekend we had quite the rain storm that Saturday. It was great, and Jackson just loved playing in it. Of course Tessa wanted to play too. It was so fun to watch them, the only down side was it was Trenton's 5th birthday party, but Kendra just had to switch gears a bit, and it worked out fine. The pirate party, a success!

Also while Mikelle and Jackson were in Prescott they went to spend the afternoon with Suzy and Van at Suzy's parent's house. They have a pool and a trampoline, so they had lots of fun. Kristin and her boyfriend JJ Campbell came along too, and Jackson had a blast. Jackson liked the slide into the pool, as long as Grandma held on up top, and JJ caught him at the bottom, before he went under! Once he went under, and then he was done until he forgot the trauma, but then he went back down! JJ and Kristin had fun dunking each other, and lets be honest really JJ did most of the dunking. Van had fun, he even got a snack in the pool! What we do to keep babies happy. He is seriously so cute! Jackson loved to "swim" in circles, and he is getting really good at jumping on the trampoline. We just love Aunts that give mommy a break! Thanks Kristin.

Aunt Kristin just can't keep her hands of Jackson and his hair. While he looks too cute, can you tell what he's thinking? Kristin would so be dead if looks could kill! Jackson gets that from his mommy.

Well, there is going to be another gardener in the family. Jackson just loves to be in Grandpa Halterman's garden. His favorite plants are the raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and grapes. All good choices! He loves to help pick them, but they never make it into the bowl. He will even eat ones that aren't quite ripe, and those that are too ripe. You can see he is already developing his watering techniques, too bad the bench doesn't need to be watered! At least he is entertained for a time with a watering can and water, that's really what matters.

So, Suzy and Van came to play in Prescott for about two weeks, so of course Mikelle and Jackson had to go and play too! Here is our cute little cousin. He has such big blue eyes, his hair is turning red, I'm afraid so!! And he is just so tall. He takes a minute to adjust to new settings, but once there, he does okay. He loved playing with Grandpa Halterman, but wasn't too sure about Trenton all up in his face. We did get one cute shot of him with Trenton though. Too cute. Trenton is just too sweet.

Just some random pictures. The first is of him lounging, again. It is just too cute how he will just lie around. Even sometimes when he plays with his cars, he lies on the ground on his side and pushes the car along the ground. He looks so tall in this picture. And how he is mimicking what his Aunt Kristin is doing, precious! The second is just him thinking he is such a big boy. So proud he climbed onto the chair all by himself.

Here are a few pictures from when Adrianna came to visit us. It was a very relaxing weekend, but so good to see Adrianna after two years. Jackson had such a good time with her. He really likes her and just acted like he had known her his whole life.

Here is Jackson playing with his basketball and hoop. He loves to dunk the ball. Bobby put the hoop up to see if he'll start shooting, but he hasn't yet. He also loves to bring you the ball so you can shoot, then he goes and gets it once you shoot. It's nice not to have to chase after your own ball!

New House!

Below are pictures of our new house! You can drag your mouse along the picture and it will tell you which part of the house it is. The Front Room is our favorite. There is so much room to move around and play, and we do play! Jackson loves all his toys, especially now since there is room to move. The Kitchen shows our ugly fridge, but we are getting a new one right now! It was hard to get good pictures of the Mater because of the three little windows above the bed. We have to figure something out to cover those. Jackson's room is the only room that we have really decorated. Kendra (our sister-in-law) painted the ceiling and the lines on the walls, although I don't think the picture does it justice. It looks great! Mikelle is loving the craft room. She is working on Jackson's scrapbook, so when he's napping she can work, then close the door and leave her projects out! And the Guest Room has no bed yet, but hopefully today or tomorrow we will go get a mattress for it. So, we are all unpacked, but there are no pictures on the walls yet and we haven't started decorating. We will post more pictures when the place looks a little more homey!! We are loving it though, especially all the space, and are getting one project done at a time!!

New House!

Okay, so here is our 18 month old "little"boy! He is starting to look so old. He has started to make all sorts of faces, and he loves to say, "wowwy wow." He is now in nursery, and since we moved wards and we aren't in nursery anymore (YIPEE), we are actually getting something out of church again!! He has all of his teeth except his back molars, and the doctor said he looks good at 23 lbs. 11 oz., 25%, and 34 inches, 50%.

So, maybe this is bad to incourage, but he is just so dang cute. He loves to lounge and watch T.V. or movies. His current favorite is "Cars" then "Finding Nemo." But he also likes "Elmo's Favorite Songs" which is at least a little educational!!

So we have been huge slackers, but with the move and all we have been a little busy. We will get pictures posted soon of the new house. We are almost all unpacked!! So, just a quick picutre of Jackson. He is playing with styrofoam. This was at Grandma and Grandpa Halterman's, and we all thought we should stop him and Tessa, but they were having too much fun. So we just let them and we found styrofoam around the house for days!!

When we came back to Phoenix we stopped at the outlet mall in Anthem. Jackson found the splash park without any problems. At first, he was a little wary of it, but Grandma showed him how it was done, and by the end he was one wet little boy. And so was Grandma! He liked trying to catch the water, but was really confused when it disappeared. The person who invented these little parks, genius.

While in Prescott Jackson got to try his first ice cream cone. Aunt Kristin had to show him how it was done, but then he was all over it. She showed him how to turn it, and of course how to share! He started standing, then turned around and got into her lap. He would take a few licks, then let her have a lick, but only if she was fast! He got it all over himself, but it was so cute. We had quite an audience at the mall.

Bobby has been crazy busy at work, so Mikelle and Jackson have been spending more time in Prescott to beat the heat. They had tone of fun. Jackson loves to be at Grandma and Grandpa Halterman's house. He gets to play with all sorts of toys. He loves anything with wheels on it. He will push his stoller all over the place, but hates to ride in it. So when he found Mikelle's old dolly stroller, he had the time of his life. It was just his size. And Grandpa Halterman got out the ATV and took Jackson for a ride. He even got to ride in the trailer. He loves to make the Vroom sound of a car, but sometimes he really just growls. It is too cute. And of course, Jackson loved the sandpile. Thankfully Grandpa would take him out to play at night when he got home. There is nothing more Jackson loves then to be outside, which gets old, but thankfully the weather in Prescott was great to be outside.

The first week of June we were in Prescott to celebrate Mikelle's dad's birthday and Father's Day since her parents will be in Missour.i It was a lot of fun. Barry and his family and Amber joined us. It was a little windy, so we went to the school to fly kites and play with the oversized tennis ball. Jackson and Tessa had so much fun with the ball. It was a littte too windy to fly kites, but Mikelle's mom got hers out about a mile. It took Barry a good 10 minutes to reel it back it, fighting it all the way.

While in Prescott, jackson got his first hair cut. He really needed one, but no whe looks so much older. It took four of us to manage. Mikelle cut, Grandma Halterman held Jackson and Bobby and Kristin took pictures and video. It was funny, and Jackson only protested a little. 

For the past few weeks Jackson and Mikelle have been in Prescott helping paint Grandma's Game Room. It looks great! Bobby joined them for Memorial Day weekend, and had fun moving furniture back. Jackson loved the handtruck. Riding on it and pushing it. He is 100% boy!

Here we are at Barry and Kendra's house. Jackson and Tessa love rides in this tonka truck. Jackson enen tried to push Tessa. It was so cute. There was only one spill, and no injuries,so a good experience overall. At Kira's baptism, yes she's 8! We had to hid the truck, which brought a few tears, but he was quickly distracted with a sponn and a cup. Who needs toys!! Jackson and Tessa are so cute together. Tessa loves her cousin Jackson. She calls him cuz, and gets super excited whenever she sees him. She even called last week to "talk" to him, with some help from Kendra of course. 

Here's just a cute picture of Jackson in his BYU jersey his Aunt Bridgette sent him. Soo cute! We just had his 15 month check-up. He weighs 23 lbs., 30% and is 33 inches tall, 95%. He's growing so fast.
